We believe that as the people of God, each of us is called to live a missional life, to be open and ready for the Holy Spirit to work through us and touch a hurting world. Living a missional life allows heaven to touch earth wherever we are. It means living lives of purpose by laying down our lives and wills for the sake of Christ.
The Great Commission that Jesus gave His disciples and us, was a command that requires action. That is why we support, through finances, prayer, and friendship, 10 missionaries and ministries working in 8 countries. We continue to look for opportunities to support works that are around the world, and to send teams to support ongoing works and bring encouragement to missionaries.
Even locally do we have a calling to the nations in Tulsa, as people from all around the world are our neighbors, many of whom have never heard the Gospel.
We support and work with International Community Outreach to reach our international neighbors at the University of Tulsa where 1300 international students from 76 countries are earning their degrees. We have a window that God has opened to impact the world right here in Tulsa by sharing with these students the love of Jesus and the hope we have found in Him.
We currently volunteer monthly at John 3:16 Mission to serve meals to the homeless.
We also collect non-perishable food every week for the Kendall Whittier Emergency Food Bank.
